Established in May 2023, we specialize in providing top-notch bicycle and e-bicycle service and sales. One notable aspect of our offerings is the opportunity for custom bike builds, featuring renowned brands like Wilde, Crust, and Velo Orange.


Our founder, Dan, brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the bicycle industry, having held various roles in local bike shops and within the urban planning field. His dedication to the industry is further underscored by his master's degree in Urban Transportation, and it was this wealth of knowledge and experience that inspired him to launch Upstate Bicycle Works.

Hands down best bike shop to go to in the area. I’m a total new cyclist and came to the guys with a bike I got off of marketplace and they took care of everything - serviced my bike, gave me tips and insight on different gear to look into, and talked about some great routes...

I highly recommend this bike shop. The owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. I just started using my bike to commute to work. The rides are much smoother and more enjoyable post-tuneup.
